Frank Frazetta
Frank Frazetta could spin a better yarn with a single painting than most pulp writers could do with a thousand words.  I love his use of abstraction, adding details only where necessary.

Ashely Wood
I love the looseness and energy of Ashley Woods’ work.  One of my favorite artists, hands down.

Mike Lapinksi
Mike Lapinski and I worked together years ago, and his blog and his drawings are top-notch.  And he’s a  great guy, to boot. The first issue of his amazing, frightening comic–Feeding Ground–is gorgeous, and at the risk of sounding bossy, I think you should purchase it and read it as soon as possible.

Ben Templesmith
If Jesus Hates Zombies alone doesn’t convince you that Ben Templesmith is one of the best illustrators around, then we probably couldn’t be friends.

Jon Foster
Jon Foster’s work is beautiful, rich, and detailed, but I love it when he loosens up and gets messy.

Michel Gagne
Michel Gagne is an incredibly talented animator, but I first became a fan of his books.  Self-publishing done right!

Clay Enos
Photographer, friend and fellow Ithaca College alum Clay Enos is one of the most talented and prolific artists I’ve met. Check out his photos here, here, or here to see his stunning, full-frame, unretouched photographs. And why not enjoy a cup of delicious organic coffee while you do it?

Theodor Geisel
The power of an unbridled imagination.  A fan since I was but a wee child, the Dr. is still a huge inspiration to me.
