Sketched this* while watching The Walking Dead.
I haven’t read the books. Yet. But the series? Just…awesome. Only a couple episodes in, and I’m hooked.

Raymond Carver is the best damn short story writer ever to put pen to paper. Or finger to typewriter key. Or whatever. I don’t actually know how he wrote. What I do know is that the story of his stories is a story unto itself. And as far as I’m concerned, Carver’s original stories are far superior to Lish’s heavily edited versions.
Read the originals for yourself. I’ll wait here so we can discuss.

Had a terrific time tonight at David B. Levy’s book launch and panel discussion on animation directing, along with the terrifically talented Dan Meth and Bill Plympton.
